Mobile Number Portability – Trends for first 2 Weeks

The long delayed Mobile Number Portability went live in Haryana on the 25th of November. After 2 weeks into effect, there hasn’t been much churn and this can be attributed to the fact that Haryana represents a small number of mobile users.

About 2% of prepaid users and 4%‐5% postpaid users in Haryana circle are expected to opt for MNP as per the current porting requests in 14 days. Tata Teleservices have got about 21% of the customers who have opted for MNP. Read more
