Bharti Airtel’s Online Bill Pay Sucks

Bharti Airtel no doubt has good wireless service and better customer care, however, they have miserably failed to realize and embrace the power of Web. Their online bill pay is down for the past two days, at least whenever I have tried [customer care claims working intermittently]. Finally, after the complaint someone tried to fix it but have a look at this screen shot. After authentication this new window pops-up and the developer has pointed it to a private IP which will fail with page not found error. I have now lodged a third complaint to fix it.

Why the F*ck am I wearing a FREE tester’s cap for Airtel ? To avoid bad roads and traffic so that I can pay the bill online 😉

  2. I don’t even rely upon these poorly built sites for passing on my secured information.

  3. “Lunatic” is right, Never trust these poorly built sites. Airtel has no idea of security and privacy. Airtel serves millions of customers but has no respect for the customers data.

    Their sites are often broken and they want us to pay the bill online using a credit card. Are there any insurances from either the Credit card issuing Bank or company or Airtel itself if our information gets into the hands of the wrong people.

  5. Online billl pay is very convenient but Airtel site’s bill pay system which credits the payment real time is down without notice for most of the time. Best is to schedule payment from bank’s site using credit card or bank account but it takes 2-3 days to reflect in Airtel’s account. Airtel charges 75 rs late fee in the next bill if we miss a bill pay even if it is due to their site problem and we need to follow up with cust care to revert the late fee.

  7. Registering for online payment have been tried for 2 months with the support of customer service, but really the customers are left to suck
