Models at the Mobile Asia Expo 2006 underway in New Delhi pose with the world’s first touch screen PDA phone manufactured by iMate and powered by Windows Mobile.
India’s Mobile phone industry has grown in value from $45 Million in 2001 to $4.5 Billion in 2006. During the same period, the number of mobile phone subscription in India has gone up from 5.5 Million to 122.5 Million(GSM & CDMA, at the end of Sept-2006)
